Selection Process

Trials Registration

RBCL registration is online only through www.myrbcl.com. The fee is ₹799 for batsmen and bowlers and ₹1,399 for all-rounders and wicketkeeper-batsmen. During the trials, players receive 12 to 24 balls to showcase their natural cricketing skills. Trials may be conducted in practice nets, open grounds, turf wickets, cement wickets, mat wickets, or indoor nets, depending on the venue. RBCL trials are open for under-14s to all age groups, with selection based on performance and potential.

RBCL Selection League Match: 3 T20 Matches

Players selected after the RBCL trials will participate in 3 T20 Selection League matches, where their performance will be evaluated by RBCL coaches and management. The league package includes an RBCL dress, cricket cap, participation certificate, one-time meal, and quality match facilities. The participation fee is ₹7,999 (including GST). All fees are non-refundable, and participation in the league does not guarantee final selection for the next stage. 3 T20 League Match Qualification Criteria: Batsman: 125+ runs; bowler: minimum 8 wickets All-rounder: Minimum 60 runs & 4 wickets; wicketkeeper-batsman: Minimum 90 runs.    Players meeting the above performance criteria will be considered for selection to the next stage of the Rising Bharat Cricket League (RBCL), subject to overall performance, discipline, and the selection committee's decision.

Next Process After League Matches

After the RBCL Selection League matches, outstanding performers may be shortlisted for the next stage, which can include ODI matches or a high-performance training camp, depending on the evaluation process. Players are assessed on their overall performance, skills, discipline, and potential. Advancement to the next stage is merit-based and decided by the RBCL management and coaching panel. Final decisions are at the discretion of the selection committee.   ODI League Performance Criteria 🏏 Batsman: 60+ Runs 🎯 Bowler: 3–4 wickets 🔥 All-Rounder: 40+ Runs & 3 Wickets 🧤 Wicketkeeper-Batsman: 50+ Runs 💪 Fitness & Fielding:
Every player will also be evaluated on fitness, fielding, discipline, attitude, game awareness, and overall team contribution. Excellent fitness and fielding are essential for selection.  

RBCL National League & Sponsorship Programme

After the RBCL Selection League, outstanding performers may advance to the RBCL National League. From across India, the top 10–15 players may be selected for the RBCL sponsorship programme based on their performance and grading. Sponsorship benefits may include academy fee support, cricket kit sponsorship, ball sponsorship, annual league match fee support, cricket product sponsorship, diet and gym workout support, and job opportunities with RBCL. Benefits are provided according to the player's performance grade, and not every player will receive the same level of sponsorship. 

RBCL – National League Fitness Camp Policy

Before the RBCL National League, the selection committee may organise fitness & high-performance camps for shortlisted players.

• Attendance at the fitness camp may be mandatory for shortlisted players.
• Selection for the National League will depend on fitness, skill, discipline, consistency, and overall performance during the camp and previous RBCL matches.
• Participation in the camp does not guarantee selection for the National League.
• The final decision of the RBCL Selection Committee will be final and binding.

RBCL – National League & Sponsorship Policy
National League

The RBCL National League is the highest level of competition in the league and features the best players from across India.

⏳ Selection for the National League may take approximately 2–3 years, depending on a player's consistency, performance, fitness, discipline, and the National League schedule.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Players do not have to wait for the National League to receive sponsorship opportunities.

🌟 Based on outstanding performance, fitness, discipline, attitude, and overall potential, RBCL may recommend or provide sponsorship support directly, even before a player reaches the National League.

Important Points

• National League selection is based entirely on merit and performance.
• Sponsorship opportunities are performance-based and are not guaranteed for every player.
• The RBCL Selection Committee and management will make the final decision regarding National League selection and sponsorship.

RBCL – Code of Conduct & Discipline

All players are expected to maintain the highest standards of discipline and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Strictly Prohibited

• Consumption or possession of alcohol before or during any RBCL activity.
• Smoking or using cigarettes, vapes, or tobacco products.
• Chewing gutkha, paan masala, khaini, tambaku, or any other tobacco-based product.
• Use of narcotic drugs or any intoxicating substances.
• Abusive language, misbehaviour, fighting, or any act that brings the league into disrepute.

Disciplinary Action

If any player is found consuming or possessing alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, gutkha, drugs, or any prohibited substance during the tournament or practice sessions, or while representing RBCL:

• The player may be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
• The player's registration and participation may be cancelled without any refund.
• The player may be banned from future RBCL events.
• The decision of the RBCL Disciplinary Committee will be final and binding.
